Farmland, Big Skies and Birds of Prey Walk, Brimham Rocks

A gentle walk through farms, meadows and pastures, with wide open spaces & a great chance of spotting birds of prey like red kites, buzzards and kestrels. Mainly flat on paved, farm tracks & through fields. Includes muddy parts, stiles, steps and gates.

Covering 10.5 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
