G00 - Via del Gries da Riale a Passo del Gries (quarta sezione)

From Riale to a little beyond Lake Morasco, proceed by road then begin the route on alpine paths passing through Bettelmat and then the steep climb that leads to Passo del Gries

At 7.1 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 34 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the G004 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
