H01a - Fraccio - Alpe Deccia

The route runs along the Chapels of the Misteri del Santo Rosario to the Oratory of the Madonna di Salera then the beautiful meadows of Compolo, a very steep final stretch on a barely visible trail, but the Deccia meadows repay the effort

Covering just 2.2 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 30 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the H01A trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
