Start at a Roman villa site, cross the Thames via a weir & lock at Hambleden Mill, before heading upstream along the regatta course to Henley. A low hill above Remenham offers views & a chance spot kingfishers on the river. Slopes & stiles throughout.

Covering 10.4 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 19 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
