Hidden Hindhead Walking Trail, Hindhead

Discover this well-signposted and not too demanding walk taking in both Gibbet Hill and The Temple of the Four Winds, each with superb views. On a clear day you'll be able to glimpse the distant London skyline. Undulating terrain, steep in placees.

Covering 6.0 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
