De Valleraugue jusqu'au sommet de l'Aigoual, cet itinéraire emblématique du massif emprunte l'ancien chemin du facteur pour arriver, après 1 220 m de dénivelé, au point culminant du Gard. Panorama exceptionnel par temps clair !

A 23.7 km long-distance challenge suited to experienced hikers. Most complete it in around 5 hours and 16 minutes.

This is a circular route that brings you back to your exact starting point — ideal for a self-contained day out without having to organise return transport. Follow the PR 17 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
