Lily Basin Trail #86
This trail provides access to the Goat Rocks Wilderness. Views of Packwood Lake and Mt. Rainier are available from this trail. Parts of this trail may have been a Native American travel route, used by mountain goat hunters.
Covering 17.9 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 3 hours and 58 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 86 trail markings to stay on the official route.
