Maybrook Trailway - hiking - Putnam Trailway to Hopewell Junction

A paved multi-use trail across Putnam and Dutchess counties in New York State and into Fairfield County, Connecticut. The trail travels west from Brewster through Southeast, Patterson, Pawling, Beekman and East Fishkill to the hamlet of Hopewell Junction

Covering 38.4 km, this is a true long-distance trail best approached as a multi-day journey through varied terrain.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required. The trail is officially waymarked as MT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
