Octavia Hill Walk around Hydon's Ball and Heath, Hindhead
A relaxing circular walk through shady woodland & across open heathland. Sandy soil makes it ideal for families in all seasons. Hydon's Ball is within the Surrey Hills AONB & is a memorial to National Trust co-founder, Octavia Hill, who died in 1912.
This 2.5 km walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 33 minutes.
