Pocket Trail
This loop trail is located in the Pocket Recreation Area. It begins in the picnic area and ends in the campground. This trail passes areas with seeps and springs. “The Pocket” is a horseshoe shaped valley between Horn and Mill Moun-tains.
At 4.8 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 1 hour and 4 minutes at a comfortable pace.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as PT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
This is a Local Walking Network (LWN) trail — a community-level route perfect for exploring the immediate surroundings, popular with locals and visitors alike.
