The Purple Trail is a newer trail that connects the Copper Mill Road highlands with the lower Red Trail

This 1.5 km walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 20 minutes.

The route nearly completes a loop, with start and end points within easy walking distance of each other. Minimal logistics required. Follow the Purple waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
