Route 577

Once in Camporotondo, take via del Palesco, follow the forest road with signs 577 for Rif. Fonte della Spina, turn right at the fountain, continue along the mule track, at the end, turn left until Piana del Pozzo

Covering 9.8 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 11 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 577, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
