Ruta 14: Laguna Grande - Alto de Garajonay

This route, which is located on the southward facing slopes of the Park, runs through a young fayal brezal on much of its course, in an area which was until only recently covered by pine plantations and to a lesser extent eucalyptus which show the results

This 9.9 km route sits in the sweet spot for a half-day outing — long enough to feel rewarding, short enough to leave the afternoon free. Expect around 2 hours and 13 minutes.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the PN14 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
