S10 Cavaglio - Le Biuse - Monte Limidario

A long and demanding route that leads from Cavaglio to the panoramic peak of Monte Limidario through the wonderful mountain pasture of Monti Olzeno, Le Biuse with the Rifugio delle Nevi, Tre Confini, Catta Margugna and the bivouac of Alpe Quadra.

Covering 9.2 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 3 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the S10 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
