S21 Gurro loc. Tresco, bivio S01 - La Piota

From Tresco above Gurro, crossroads with S01 and GTA, climb to the top of la Piota where you reach the Sentiero Bove. You pass by Vanzone, from the chapel of Fulca with the unattended bivouac and the Alpone.

This 5.2 km route sits in the sweet spot for a half-day outing — long enough to feel rewarding, short enough to leave the afternoon free. Expect around 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the S21 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
