Sefton Coastal Path
These popular, well-used, cycle-friendly paths pass through the National Trust site of Formby, connecting the 1.5 miles between Lifeboat Road and Victoria Road car parks.
Covering 7.3 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 37 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
