Sonnentour

This is a mergence of an old and a new route (with different guideposts) - but the differences are negligible: just pick one of the alternative courses at Marienwaldweg, the northern course is the new one.

Covering 9.5 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 6 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the 4 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
