West Fork Humptulips Trail #806

This trail follows the river within a remote valley. The trail fords the river multiple times and winds along the western edge of Moonlight Dome Roadless Area.

Covering 24.2 km, this demanding trail is best tackled by experienced walkers in good condition. Budget roughly 5 hours and 22 minutes or consider splitting it across two days.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 806 trail markings to stay on the official route.
