XP1A - Ponte Casletto - Ponte Velina
A daring and challenging route that runs along the steep side of the Rio Valgrande with frequent dripping tunnels where an open-air water conduit flows, dilapidated small bridge and a Tibetan Bridge are the final highlight.
At 2.6 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 35 minutes at a comfortable pace.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the XP1A trail markings to stay on the official route.
Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
