A00a - Via Francisca (prima sezione)

Historical walk along the Francisca Road which takes place mostly on internal roads, mule track and paths. In many crossroads it is difficult to identify the path due to the lack of painted flags and some guideposts

Covering 24.4 km, this demanding trail is best tackled by experienced walkers in good condition. Budget roughly 5 hours and 26 minutes or consider splitting it across two days.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the A004 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
