A1 Wandergebiet Rödinghausen

Vom Wanderparkplatz „Friedhof Rödinghausen“ auf einer Länge von ca. 4 km wandert man auf naturnahen Wegen vorbei an einer langen Felswand. Diese entstand vor fast 160 Millionen Jahren. Dünne und dicke Gesteinsschichten wechseln sich in schneller Folge ab.

At 3.6 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 48 minutes at a comfortable pace.

The route forms a complete loop, returning you to where you started. This makes logistics simple and the outing entirely self-contained. Follow the A1-R waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
