Walk in the footsteps of the artists & writers of the Bloomsbury Group as you follow this circular to the 600yrs old Alfriston Clergy House (in the South Downs National Park). Take in downland views on route. Moderate terrain with 1 steep climb.

Covering 9.0 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
