Ancient History & Agriculture Walk (Formerly the Orange Walk)

An undulating circular walk following farm tracks and footpaths across fields with an ascent through woodland. Some tracks and footpaths may be muddy and uneven.

At 6.4 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 26 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
