The Aurora Creek trail rises an astonishing 3700 feet in 3.4 miles, from the edge of Hwy 101 to its junction with the Aurora Ridge Trail.
Covering 5.6 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 14 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the ACPT waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
