Cammino del Lago Maggiore - Tappa Cannobio - Ascona
A 230km circular trekking, divided into 11 stages, along the shores of Lake Maggiore. It links Lombardy, Piedmont, and Switzerland in a unique route with breathtaking views. It's a participatory journey, the result of mapping with local residents.
At 7.9 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 46 minutes.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the CLM trail markings to stay on the official route.
