Cammino della Pace - Tappa 12

Da Roccamontepiano si sale alla contrada Sant’Angelo e poi ai piedi della Maiella alla Grotta del Colle e al centro abitato di Rapino. Oltrepassato il santuario della Madonna di Carpineto si arriva infine a Guardiagrele, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia

A 17.9 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 3 hours and 59 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the CdP12 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
