Chartes Circular Route

This circular route around the almost abandoned settlement of Chartes, is a nice walk with open views but it has not been much cared for.

At 4.4 km, this is a short, accessible outing suitable for most fitness levels. Expect to complete it in around 58 minutes at a comfortable pace.

The route forms a complete loop, returning you to where you started. This makes logistics simple and the outing entirely self-contained. Follow the Cha1 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
