Coast to Coast Walkway (Manukau to Waitematā)

In three stages you walk through landscapes shaped by 600 years of Māori occupation, and through some of our finest natural and built heritage areas offering panoramic views along the way.

This 17.6 km route makes for a full-day commitment — bring sufficient food and water. Plan for around 3 hours and 54 minutes on the trail.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the C2C waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
