Cross Rivendell Trail

Trail connecting the three schools of the Rivendell Interstate School. Traverses the towns of Vershire, West Fairlee, Fairlee, VT, and Orford, NH.

At 36.2 km, this is a demanding long-distance hike that may be split across multiple days. Experienced hikers typically take around 8 hours and 3 minutes to complete it end-to-end.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
