Erie Canalway Trail (Albion to Brockport)

An off-road stonedust stage on the north side of the Erie Canal, passing by farmlands, woods, scenic vistas, and water views of boats and canal infrastructure.

This 18.4 km route makes for a full-day commitment — bring sufficient food and water. Plan for around 4 hours and 5 minutes on the trail.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the ECT waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
