F28 - Alpe Veglia - Bocchetta di Aurona

Very dangerous path for falling rocks in the final part, where the glacier of Aurona disappeared, equipped with chains and pegs fixed in the rock. Path clearly visible except at the beginning of the dangerous part due to landslides.

A compact 1.1 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 14 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the F28 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
