H09 - Cravegna - Alpe Agarù. Parte della Veia di Scuettar

The Veia di Scuettar or Via degli Scoiattoli was once traveled with herds by the inhabitants of Crodo to reach Alpe Devero along a hillside route. To complete it follow H09x and then H09y, the latter very dangerous due to landslide

At 6.4 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 26 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as H09, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
