5 mile circular starting & ending in the flint & red-brick village of Hambleden. Take in beech woods & the hamlet of Pheasants Hill, with great views across the valley. Fairly steep slopes on soft paths & gravel tracks.

Covering 9.2 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 3 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
