Highline Trail #114
The Highline trail traveverses the north side of Mt. Adams within Mt. Adams Wilderness and rises in elevation to nearly 7,800'. The trail features spectacular views of Lyman and Lava Glaciers, as well as panoramic views of the Goat Rocks and Mt. Rainier.
At 12.9 km, this is a solid full-day hike. At an average walking pace you can expect to complete the route in roughly 2 hours and 52 minutes.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as 114, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
As a Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail is maintained and waymarked at the regional level. It typically connects towns, villages, and natural highlights across the wider area.
