Hudson Valley Greenway Trail (East Greenbush to Albany)

This section has spectacular views of the Hudson River. At Hampton Ave, this route follows the EST pedestrian signage on the north east side of Columbia Turnpike (US9 & US20)

Covering just 5.0 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 1 hour and 6 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the HVGT trail markings to stay on the official route.
