This 4.2 mile trail starts at the Little Quilcene trailhead off Forest Road 2820. Accesses Buckorn Wilderness via a juntion with Mt Townsend Trail #839 at 2 miles.
Covering 6.6 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 28 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 835, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
