Longleaf Pine Trail
Longleaf Pine Trail is 4 miles one way. It shares 0.1 miles with the Wire Grass Loop trail. All other trails in the Sandhills Access of Carvers Creek State Park are accessed from this trail.
Covering 6.5 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 26 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
This is a Local Walking Network (LWN) trail — a community-level route perfect for exploring the immediate surroundings, popular with locals and visitors alike.
