M14 - Malesco - Bocchetta di Cortechiuso

From Malesco to Fondo li Gabbi in Val Loana, partially following the road and then for mule track at Alpe Scaredi gate of the Val Grande, then with easy path, in the high meadows, to the Bocchetta di Cortechiuso

Covering 11.8 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 37 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the M14 trail markings to stay on the official route.
