Margery Wood Circular Walk, Harewoods

Enjoy this scenic walk at Reigate Hill. The chalk downland on this stretch of the North Downs boasts rare flora and fauna and some of the most magnificent views of the Surrey Hills towards the South Downs. Steep ascents & descents & undulating paths.

Covering 6.0 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 21 minutes.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
