Margery Wood, Walton Heath and Colley Hill Walk, Harewoods

Margery Woods in Surrey is a lovely spot to walk whatever the season. It's great for bluebells in spring and lovely in autumn as the leaves turn golden brown. Colley Hill boasts magnificent views over Surrey to the South Downs. Flat but muddy in places.

Covering 6.0 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
