Merryman's Mill Trail (Lower)

The Merryman's Mill Trail, lower option follows the stays closer to the waters edge and is an unofficial network of trails around the historic namesake mill. The mill's ruins and cemetery are visible along the route.

At 7.8 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the MMT trail markings to stay on the official route.
