Meteora Trail M08 - Kastraki old Aqueduct – Monastery of Roussanou Trail

This route runs among some impressive rocks, with great views, under the canopy of deciduous trees, keeping the inhabited ones on one side and the currently uninhabited on the other.

This 1.3 km walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 18 minutes.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. Follow the M08 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
