A steep trail to a rocky perch with views of Lake Cushman and the southeastern corner of the Olympic Mountains.

Covering 6.4 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 26 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 814, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
