Hiker trail only. Hike through dense conifer forest on a trail constructed in the 1930's by Civilian Conservation Corps trail crews and get glimpses of the Olympic peaks including Mt. Constance.
Covering 6.3 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 24 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the 831 trail markings to stay on the official route.
