Easy walk through previously farmed areas of the park. Regeneration from the Recloaking Papatūānuku project started in 2022. Walk to/from Poplar Avenue in Raumati South from/to Mackays Crossing entrance.

A compact 3.7 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 49 minutes.

This is a circular route that brings you back to your exact starting point — ideal for a self-contained day out without having to organise return transport. The trail is officially waymarked as OFT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
