Puyallup Trail #248
Trail #248 begins on Glacier View Trail #267 and proceeds east through a conifer forest to Goat Lake within Glacier View Wilderness. From there it climbs eastward toward the Mt. Rainer National Park boundary and Gobblers Knob.
Covering 5.1 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 8 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 248, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
This is a Local Walking Network (LWN) trail — a community-level route perfect for exploring the immediate surroundings, popular with locals and visitors alike.
