R30e Ghiffa - Sacro Monte SS.Trinità di Ghiffa

Route between Ghiffa lakefront and Sacro Monte of SS. Trinità, initially on an asphalt road, then on path at times steep. The Sacro Monte is a World Heritage Site and a Special Nature Reserve. Magnificent dominant position on Lake Maggiore.

Covering just 1.2 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 17 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch. Follow the R30E waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
