Follow the farm road to Gas Line Ridge, which overlooks Transmission Gully. Continue along the track to see the St Bernard’s educational woodlot and visit the riparian (streamside) restoration planting area on the way to the carpark.

A compact 2.1 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 28 minutes.

This route forms a near-complete loop: the start and finish are very close together, so only minimal transport is needed to get back. It combines the convenience of a circular walk with a slightly varied return. Look for the Rstn trail markings to stay on the official route.

A Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail weaves through the regional landscape connecting villages, viewpoints, and countryside.
