Ribble Way
The Ribble Way follows the valley of the River Ribble from the mouth to the source near to the Pennine Way National Trail on Gayle Moor.
Covering 72.8 km, this is a true long-distance trail best approached as a multi-day journey through varied terrain.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
A Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail weaves through the regional landscape connecting villages, viewpoints, and countryside.
