Ruta 10: Cañada de Jorge

This walk takes you over much of its layout through fayal-brezal, a type of woodland that is characteristic of the southern slopes of the Park, which are less favoured by the mists. Nevertheless, close to the summit, in the vicinity of the road which run

Covering just 3.1 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 42 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the PN10 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
